Screening Room: ‘Burning’

On October 24, 2018October 24, 2018 By chrisbarsantiIn Adaptations, Books, Film - Festivals, Film - New, Film-ForeignLeave a comment

In the newest movie from Korean director Lee Chang-dong, a stunted writer gets tangled up in a Great Gatsby-esque love triangle with a manic dreamer of a woman and a mysteriously quiet man of means.

Burning is opening this week in limited release. My review is at Film Journal International.

Here’s the trailer:

  • Writer’s Desk: Be Honest, But Within Reason
  • Writer’s Desk: Let Yourself Go
  • Writer’s Desk: Get a Cat
  • Reader’s Corner: Fall Graphic Novels
  • Writer’s Desk: Write People, Not Ideas
